During peak times, when many passengers arrive at once, the shuttle first takes the drivers to the rental cars. They then return to the airport with the car to pick up their travel companions, so the others only need to wait at the terminal. This is a well-tested, quick and convenient solution for everyone.
Auto Canhas will deliver the car to the address provided in your booking anywhere on the island – whether it is a hotel or an apartment.
In the morning hours, the selected pickup time is indicative only, and during busy periods it may vary by as much as 30–90 minutes. Auto Canhas will do everything possible to arrive as soon as they can, so it is best not to plan a fixed programme around the pickup.
You do not need to wait at your accommodation – you can go for a walk or even relax in a café. The driver will call you before arrival to confirm the exact address.
You can cancel or modify your booking free of charge. Open the link in your confirmation email, then scroll to the bottom of the page to the "Cancellation/Modification Request" section, and write a short message saying you’d like to cancel.

However, it is important to know that in high season it is worth booking in advance, so you can secure a better price and car availability.
Based on our experience, it is best to book your car 1–3 months before your trip.
If you try to book too early (6–12 months in advance), that period is often not priced yet, so the rates may be higher.

When booking, you always choose a car category (for example “Economy manual” or “Compact automatic”), not a specific make or model. The model shown on the rental company’s website is only an example – the actual car may be any similar vehicle within the chosen category with a similar size and equipment level.
