In short: We are car rental specialists helping travelers rent a car in Madeira with excellent local partners. We help you request quotes, compare options, and clarify the steps—clearly and without surprises.

By using this website and contacting us through our forms, email or WhatsApp, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1) Who we are

Car4YouMadeira is an independent assistance service. Service provider details are available on our Legal Notice (Imprint) page.

2) What we do

  • Quote help: we help you request offers and compare options based on your travel dates and preferences.
  • Clear guidance: we explain pick-up steps, required details and common questions in a simple way.
  • Trusted local partners: rentals are provided by selected local companies (partners) who confirm availability and provide the vehicle.

3) Booking assistance (important clarification)

Rental contract: If you proceed with a booking, the rental agreement is concluded directly between you and the rental partner (not with Car4YouMadeira).

The partner confirms availability and applies their rental conditions (insurance options, fuel policy, cancellation rules, pick-up rules, etc.).

4) Your responsibilities

  • Accurate details: please provide correct information (names, dates/times, contact details, flight number if requested, driving licence issue date if requested, etc.).
  • Read partner confirmation: always check the partner’s final confirmation/voucher and rental conditions before pick-up.
  • Report issues quickly: if anything goes wrong, contact us immediately via WhatsApp or email so we can help fast.

5) Prices & availability

Quotes are based on the information available at the time and may change until confirmed by the rental partner.

6) €1000 Car4YouMadeira Guarantee

€1000 guarantee — complete peace of mind for every booking.
We don’t just recommend — we take responsibility for our partners and travellers.

6.1 When is it included?

The €1000 Car4YouMadeira Guarantee is automatically included if:

  • you use the VAMOS5 or VAMOS10 coupon code, or
  • you let us handle the booking for you.

6.2 What is it?

If you use the VAMOS5 or VAMOS10 coupon code, or if we make the booking for you, your reservation is covered by the €1000 Car4YouMadeira guarantee. If any problem comes up with your car rental, we are right behind you and help you resolve the situation.

6.3 What does it cover?

The aim of the guarantee is to make sure you’re never left alone in unexpected situations. Examples:

  • If you can’t pick up the car because your flight was delayed (e.g. covering taxi costs)
  • Fines or charges that you didn’t cause
  • Unreasonable extra fees charged by the rental company

6.4 Conditions

  • The guarantee is valid if you use the VAMOS5 or VAMOS10 coupon code, or if we arrange the booking for you.
  • The booking must be made with the following partners: RentX, Auto Canhas, Rent-A-Car Madeira, Madlobos.
  • Clear, verifiable proof is required (invoice, email, contract, fine notice).
  • You must report the issue to us immediately via WhatsApp or email.
  • We respond and assess the claim within 7 working days.
  • Not valid in cases of driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs or deliberate breach of the rental contract.

6.5 How to claim it?

  1. Collect your documents
    Invoice, contract, photos, emails – anything that proves what happened.
  2. Email our team
    Briefly describe the situation and attach the files – we’ll confirm once we’ve received them.
  3. Approval within 7 days
    We review everything fairly and let you know our decision.
  4. Up to €1000 refund
    If approved, we transfer up to €1000 directly to your bank account.

Note: This guarantee is provided by Car4YouMadeira. It is not insurance and does not replace the rental partner’s own terms or any consumer rights you may have.

7) Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Car4YouMadeira is not responsible for the rental partner’s services, decisions, the condition of the vehicle, availability, cancellations, refunds, or issues arising from the rental contract between you and the partner.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.

8) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The latest version will be available on this page, with the “Last updated” date shown at the top.
